CGL and the Contractor: Traps & Tricks
This course addresses the Commercial General Liability coverage form and the possible gaps that exist for contractors. We will discuss gaps in the Coverage A and B insuring agreements, the definitions, the exclusions, and the conditions. Included in the discussion will be a discussion of the insurance and non-insurance remedies for the coverage gaps, including endorsements that may be used to close gaps. Emphasis will be on increased awareness, E&O loss reductions and increased service to clients.

Builders Risk, Installation Floaters and Contractor's Equipment 
Inland marine coverage is essential for builders and contractors. Property forms are not designed to cover the exposures of buildings under construction or being renovated. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to builder's risk insurance. Included will be a discussion of the advantages of an inland marine form compared to a commercial property form. Also, there will be a discussion of indirect coverage and "soft costs." Also discussed will be installation floaters and contractor's equipment floaters.

CE: Approved for 8 hours property-casualty CE credits in Mo. & Kan.
