Description

Learn how to develop a strong personal lines book of business, identify which clients provide the most revenue and ways to grow commission income with this comprehensive course. In the CIC Personal Lines course, you will focus on the property-casualty insurance industry, covering topics related to personal residential and personal auto, including policy coverages, limitations and exclusions. Through the use of examples of personal umbrella or excess policies, you will learn how to respond in the event of a loss.  

Online - GoToWebinar:
You will receive the link to access the first session 24 hours before the course begins. You will receive subsequent links approximately an hour before the beginning of the session. If you've never used GoToWebinar, please take the time NOW to check system requirements by clicking on this link. If your system is incompatible, you will need to reach out to your IT contact immediately and sort out any issues before the beginning of the course.

This course is approved for 16 general continuing education credits in Missouri. Contact The Alliance at alliance@riskeducation.org for CE credits for other states.

Registration fee is per person. You cannot pay for one person and have several others listen in. Each attendee must be a paid registrant. Attendance is verified by each attendee's personal link.

CIC examinations must be taken online through your PROfile page in the week following the class, beginning Monday, 12:01 a.m. until Thursday, 11:59 p.m. Central. The exam must be proctored by a pre-approved disinterested third party. If you need assistance, the exam help inbox (examhelp@riskeducation.org) is monitored during normal business hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT. You must submit your selected proctor’s information to The Alliance by the end of the course. You can find further instructions on the guidelines here.

Testing is not required to get CE or to maintain a CIC designation. Testing is only required if obtaining your CIC designation.
