E&O Exposures and Defenses:
E&O risk management is a balancing act. Agencies must balance reducing their E&O exposure against what’s going to help them sell insurance. If an agency did everything its E&O carrier suggested, it probably wouldn’t sell much insurance. But, if an agency ignores the recommendations of E&O professionals, it’s just a matter of time before an E&O claim arises and threatens the agency’s financials, and perhaps its very survival.
